I was a "newbie" on another board and mostly just lurked here. I'm an American living with my English husband in the U.S. He and I have never lived abroad together but I've lived abroad for short stints in the past so I feel like I "belong" on this board. In my lurking, I decided that you ladies are very fun!
Same screen name as TN. I'm the occasional poster, but lurk serveral times a day ;-) We are Americans (although DH also holds an Irish passport), living in Hong Kong with our 2 kids. Been here for a year with no plans to leave any time soon.
Hi all! Just registered on TN and TB very recently, pretty much in time to make a few posts and then get a Malware warning the next day when I tried to see the replies. Hmmm...Really glad to find you all here instead, though! I'm American with an English DH, been living abroad for most of the past eight years, moving to Thailand this summer! Nice meeting you all and happy to find so many other "multi-national-couples-living-in-a-country-neither-of-them-are-from!"
I'm from the US, and up until last week, was on a mission to conquer every continent in the next few years. My weapons of choice are my camera and the English language.
We (husband & two cats) lived in Morocco last year, and are living in Poland now.
I'm a total noob and came to know of this board thanks to a post from dulcemariamar1 on thebump.

Welcome, but why do you say until last week? What happened last week to change it?
Finally making my way over here. Same SN. I'm a American/Canadian living in London for the last 3 years with my American DH, and expecting our first child in October.
Hey All! My first visit over to the new board... Former SN: VABeachMay08.
H and I are Americans living the dream in bella Napoli with our beautiful Italian English Setter. We're heading back to VA later this summer. Very mixed feelings... will miss IT for sure, but it will be nice to see the family/friends more.
May was crazy-- 3 house guests, an unplanned trip back to the States (H's Dad passed away), just crazy.
Glad to see June and looking forward to our last few weeks expat! Also, looking forward to catching up with what you all have been up to as well and meeting the new folks!

Hey! I was BarbourWales04 on TN- though I didn't post there often.
I live in NSW, Australia with my Aussie DH, and we're expecting our first child (a son) in less than three weeks! DH is also a New Zealand citizen. We plan on setting it up so DS can have dual citizenship (American/Aussie).
I knit, read, am a huge fan of "Mad Men", "Game of Thrones" and "Revenge", and I love to cook. DH and I have been together since 04, off and on, and he likes to say there's nothing I've cooked for him yet that he hasn't liked .

Sounds a lot like me. I make something I am especially pleased with and will say that is one of the times when I really think I am a good cook. DH laughs and comments "Yes, I call those times weekdays." HaHaHa

Hi all! I recently discovered this board and have been lurking. I'm an American-French citizen, born & raised in MI, USA. I've made several vacation trips to France, and I've always said that someday I'll take advantage of my dual citizenship and move there for an extended time. I've come to a point in my life where I've realized that it's now or never!
I'll be going back to school in the fall to finish my Bachelor's degree. After I graduate in May, I'd like to find a job in France and spend at least a year mastering the language, traveling and spending time with my mom's side of the family. I'm sure I'll have questions and will become more active on the board in time. So happy to have come across it!
Not sure if I should reply to this, but I figured since I've been posting here, I should introduce myself. I've been teaching for going on 9 years now, 6 years in sped and 2 years in English during part of that time I taught English at the college level as well. I have been married for 10+ years and with my H for 13. We have three children, 10, 6, and 4. We both lived in the Chicagoland area most of our lives (I attended college in Chicago). Now we are on the WI border in Northwest IL. H and I made the decision this past March to start looking at teaching overseas. We would love to go to Japan, but so far nothing has worked out. We are going to try a little harder next year since we came so late in the game. So that's me in a nutshell. I think I posted a couple times at that other place. My SN was HSspeducator. Thanks for always answering my questions and all the help. You ladies are awesome. =]
Hello again INs. I was katrina_pharmd on TN. I've been adjusting to life as a full time working mama, and six months back has just flown by. Hope all of you ladies are well. Will be nice to catch up with everyone again.
DH and I are Californians living in New Zealand with our nearly 17 month old DS.
SnowyOwl here and on the nest. I've been back in the US for three years after a year in Prague but I just can't quit you guys DH and I live in New England with two cats and a dog.
Hello! I'm new here... my husband and I are from Canada now living in Europe with our 2 kids. We moved here 3 years ago for me to attend medical school, still have 3 year to go (it's a 6 year program, different than in Canada/States). Can't wait to finish school and get back to Canada.
