Eh. I can't believe I sat and watched that whole game at the local German-American center. By the end you could pick out who were German nationals by the obscenities they were yelling at the screen.

Hehe, I watched the game too. In most other matches, I'd cheer for Bayern, they were a class act and I feel sorry for them .... but I love Chelsea FC so WOOHOO!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!

To be fair, I've been a Chelsea fan for years because I lived in West London back in the day. I also like the "internationalness" of the team. Most people hate that it's run by a Russian oligarch, me? Why not? Think of it this way, there are a lot of worse things he could be doing with his money than running a football club. I'm also amused by the reactions I get from obsessed male fans of other teams (coworkers and such) when I admit to supporting Chelsea. "But it's not a real team!" ... I say, "Actually, it is, just like yours is."

That said, don't worry if anyone on here hates Chelsea as many, many people I know do. To each their own.

Heck, I'm too old as well...past midnight and I better for doing something active or I'm a gonner.

As my DH is an Arsenal fan, you can imagine that my house was cheering against Chelsea (though he didn't care that much as it didn't effect Arsenal).

I was coming back from Michigan so missed the game, but I'm a Bayern fan, so maybe that's for the best.
