Amelia wasn't very cooperative today, she was sooo tired. We woke her up to put her in the car, to get her out, and when the Dr came in the room. So we didn't have the most relaxing visit ever. She's fast asleep in the car now and I'm looking at our hand out and her weight has gone down to the 20%. She's 17.25 lbs and 28". I know she will be lighter as long as she's as active as she is, but I am picking up some avocados today and am going to work on fattening up my girl. Her Dr wasn't concerned at all and her hemoglobin is good, but I want my baby chubby
Aww, what a petite little lady! I took Mia to the Dr yesterday and she was 17.1 lbs at 5 months, 5 days. Anytime you want a chubby baby fix you just let me know. She's tall too, so it's her thighs and bedonkedonk, lol
The girls are 20 and 21 lbs at 16 month old. Although the docotr doesn;t seem too concerned since they are preemies and won't catch up until age 3-ish.

Awe! Kennedy was 20 lbs and 30.25 inches at 18 months! I think it's pretty normal for weight gain to slow down around that time. But seriously, how is she 9 months already???
Lol at bedonkadonk and seriously Jennifer, I don't know, time sure does fly, but then again I barely remember my life without her. We didn't talk about her size with her Dr today but at her last appt he mentioned that we shouldn't be alarmed that the growth slows down between 6-9 but especially between 9-12. She's plenty tall so if she stops growing in that way I'm fine with it, but I need to get her chunked up better while she's awake, especially since she's playing and sleeping a lot more. She will eat Cheerios all day and will let me feed her with my fingers but she is way too independent to be fed with a spoon. So avocado rolled around in Cheerio dust every day it is. Any other ideas for me? I'm going to start trying a little yogurt too but I need more fun finger foods besides Cheerios.
