I wanted to bake some brownies to take to the firehouse for the guys that came out to save me on Sunday.
And it has nothing to do with the fact that one of them had the face of an angel!!
They were so sweet and nice to me, they even dried my hair with a hairdryer to warm me up. I thought it would be a nice gesture and a nice thing to teach my son about being appreciative to people that help us.

Hmmmmm I have no idea! I think it would be nice, but at the same time... home baked goods are kind of scary right? Like what if you PUT RAZOR BLADES IN THE BROWNIES??

Nice. When I worked in a group home we used to do that a lot. They firefighters seemed to appreciate it. Plus I think it would be a good learning experience for your son!

After the paramedics carried me off a mountain with a broken ankle, I adopted them and brought them baked goods every month for six months. Do it. They will think its sweet.

My boyfriend's firehouse is always receiving food "gestures" like this. The local Firebirds restaurant brought them all take-out last week for their work at the restaurant. I think your idea is so thoughtful!

I hope it's a nice idea, because I did exactly this once a few years ago when paramedics had to be called because I had collapsed. Of course, I was hospitalized a few days and then recovering, so it was more than a week before I delivered them, and by then they had forgotten all about me.
Try to deliver them on the same shift as they were helping you so that hopefully some of the emt's will be the same.
Absolutely Do it! But i am with DDD to buy packaged so they dont have to worry about any sneaky stuff in there, not that you would! Public safety always has to worry about that stuff! And go find your angel!!!
