I keep seeing the clarisonic and I'm thinking of getting one this weekend. Has anyone used it? Is it worth it? Should I spend the money? Can I gt the cheaper ones?
Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. I've used it for about 2 years now. I even bought a second one for travel.
I admit that I had decent skin to begin with, but since the Clarisonic my skin is amazing. The clarisonic has smoothed out my skin, made my pores look smaller and if i do get a zit it's small and goes away quickly. This is honestly the best thing to ever happen to my skin.
I've said it before, but I would actually run back in to my burning house to save my clarisonic. I've gotten probably close to a dozen friends hooked on it and even my 55 year old dad.
There's a small part of me that wishes my mia 1 would die so that i can get the mia 2. Hahaha.
Oh and when you're ready to buy brushes, I've been getting good deals off of ebay. They're brand new, don't have the cardboard box, but come with the plastic cap. I've been finding them for under $12 each there. They recommend that you change your brush head every 3 months and I've found that's about the right amount of time if you're using daily.
Yep, I use it in the morning in the shower and then use make up wipes at night.
Oh and I forgot to mention, you may end up with a purging period. The Clarisonic really digs up all of the crap deep down in your pores. My poor BFF went through 8 weeks of purging, but now her skin looks amazing. Most people's purges last a few weeks. Or you might be lucky and not have any purging period.
I didn't get one, so I don't know. My friend had small zits here and there. I didn't think it was that bad, but she wanted to quit after about week 6, I convinced her to keep going and now she loves it.
Ik- I don't know what (if anything) it does to roseca.
Kwp- you need one too. You really, really do. Everyone needs one. I might have just gotten h's mom one for her bday. Hahaha.
Its temporary. Imho the after results are more than worth the few weeks of ickiness. Besides, do you really want that crap lingering in your pores?
I do take off my make up every night and I'm still amazed how beige my brush is in the morning. It kind of icks me out that I sleep with that on my face.
Also, I feel like ive needed to use less moisturizer and foundation because my skin is able to absorb it better.

ignorance is bliss?
i'd like cleaner skin..but i don't know if i'd actually stick to the routine of using one. you can use it in the shower, right? that might help...
Yep, the unit can get wet. I store it in the shower and use it there. That's what sold me on it. If I couldn't use it in the shower I don't know if id love it that much. I'm weird, but I don't like washing my face at the skin. I feel like I make a huge mess every time.
