Here's a pic of one of our doggies. She's from a rescue shelter so we have no idea what breed(s) she is. What do you all think? She's 70 lbs. We adopted her 3 years ago when she was 8 weeks old and she weighed 10 lbs. She didn't have her spots yet and we thought we were adopting a Jack Russell Terrier. Just a little off
Australian shepherd + terrier? Do you have a picture of her standing so we can see her trunk?
This is the only one I could find on this computer. You can see our other dog in this picture, too. She's also from a rescue shelter but we believe she is mostly (or all) Australian Cattle Dog.
Sorry, not the best or biggest pic! Not sure if that's even helpful!
My Googling says a female Malamute (75lb) is actually bigger than a Husky (45ish lb).
We have two mutts and did Wisdom Panel DNa tests for funsies (that autocorrected to fundies, LOL). My fluffy dog is a chow/GSD/rottie. We were guessing golden + husky, but chow + rottie makes so much more sense. My smaller guy we suspected was pit + boxer came back as golden retriever + bulldog.
That is what we originally thought... perhaps blue heeler mixed with a larger breed(s). She was rescued from a ranch in northern CA where the owner was a hoarder. He had hundreds of dogs and it was a really sad situation. Several of them looked to have some blue heeler so you might be right! I'm so curious!
