Well that was one for the books...

So my date last night definitely didn't compare to Tuesday night.

My coworker and I grabbed wine at the wine bar next door to the restaurant. We saw said date pull up and go into the restaurant. I was a little apprehensive already and I wasn't sure if I was attracted to him when he got out but I told myself to keep an open mind.

I am not sure what happened but almost as soon as I sat down he wanted to talk about NOTHING more than how horrible his ex is and their custody battle. I kid you not, I couldn't change the subject for my LIFE. I tried complimenting him on his adorable kiddo (he showed me a pic) and it turned into him talking about how he does all of his "firsts" with him as opposed to his ex (ie; he must like his dad better I suppose).

I literally just sat there barely talking (and I'm a TALKER). He didn't even notice he was so busy going off about court, child support (he pays $800 a month btw) etc. It was horrible. I essentially had my head down the entire date just nodding and gritting my teeth.

I got up to use the restroom twice because I was that panicked. The restroom is through the kitchen in this restaurant. It was funny the dishwasher was really cute and I told him that I was on the world's worst date. When I got out of the bathroom he was like "oh man, good luck out there!"

So that was a BIG, FAT, NO! But I'm excited because I'm going out with W (date from Tuesday night) again tomorrow night!

Thankfully it was a short date. It's an ala carte place and neither of us ordered salads so we just were waiting for entrees. I got there about 5 minutes after 7 and was done by 8:30. Not too bad.

Ugh sorry about that but yay about W.

Sometimes I wonder if us gals should be honest with guys and say why they made a bad date. Maybe these guys need some advice and tips? Do you think they will ever figure it out???

Well one was the dolphin dude...you might remember him. He had us start watching "The Cove" on our 1st (and ONLY) date. And he had no brakes in his truck. The vehicle shook when he applied them.

Another was the guy who I'd been seeing for about a month. I decided to sleep with him but had to get drunk first. He brought dirty talk to a whole new level and the next morning he BLEW up the bathroom at my friends house (where we stayed) with five huge poopsplosions. I still haven't lived that one down.

GC dude was the one who paid for dinner with a GC and then when I didn't want to go out with him he got miffed and said he'd wasted a perfectly good GC on me.
