So we have tickets to the Nats first home gave in the Division Series on Oct 10th. The times have yet to be announced.
Do you think it will automatically be an evening game since it is a Division Series? If so, do you think it will start at 735 or whatever? They will either play the Braves or the Cardinals, so we are one hour ahead.
Is there a possibility that it might be a day game?
I tried to look up past years schedules to get an idea but the times are missing from those as well.
I just really need to set up a baby sitter, but it is hard when I have no idea what time anything is! Boo
Pretty sure the post-season night games were supposed to start at 8pm. Also, plan them to run longer than normal since they'll be televised (but they've struck the deal with Metro so that will stay open).
I think it could still be either afternoon or evening. Especially since the Yankees will be playing too. (hopefully against the Rangers although their end of season collapse has been epic) The Yankees seem to get the prime time slot.

That's bc the number 1 seed picks their own schedule. This year the Nats are the #1 seed. That day could potentially have 4 games. The Oakland/Detroit game, if necessary, will be the late game, possibly a 10:00 start in the East, bc it is in Oakland. You could have a 1 or 2PM game, 4 or 5PM game or an 8PM game.

I am thinking the times will be up by tomorrow after the games tonight (hopefully!). I guses I will ask our babysitter if she can maybe babysit for some unknown time.

Interesting. I always figured it was bc the Yankees pull in more viewers. Good to know!
Game 1 and 2 in the division seris is oct 7 and 8 ( for the cardinals), both are late afternoon games. This is for the games being played in st. louis.
SO I would say possible to be afternoon games, but most likely at least a 5 pm start or later.

I always thought the prime time playoff games were the ones who drew the most television viewers as well. So, all the schedules are really dependent upon when the Yankees play.
Regardless, your game could be at any time. There could be 4 games that day, which makes television coverage hard to manage.
Since all teams have a travel day between games 2 and 3, I wouldn't use the times for games 1 and 2 as predictors.
Playoff baseball is so un-MM, but so very fun and worth it!

Aren't the cardinals playing right now? Are you predicting the future?

We have playoff tickets for the SF Giants on Sunday. The game time was just announced this morning. It was so frustrating since we were trying to plan our weekend all week. Hope they post the time soon!
