Thought you figured it out b/c you had one. I used a profile pic from fb and just went to properties and copied the location like you described.

ETA: Well maybe not like you described? Right click on image, go to properties then copy "address" and paste in avator under profile here.

hm, when I right click I don't see anything like "properties" listed. I'm used to copying "image location", but that doesn't seem to work.

yeah, I tried it a bunch of times and it still wouldn't work, poo. I'll give it another shot, but that's what the link looks like that I'm entering. Still don't see properties though.

is there a way to see if it's too many pixels? I'm just trying to get a picture from facebook. oh and the avatar you see is just one of the options, not something I put in there.

did you select "none" after you entered the jpg link?

as for the pixels, just adjust it..mine is def bigger than 100x100, but i just put 90x70 to make it fit.

yeah, I selected "none", activated my account (oops, hadn't done that) and tried setting my own pixels, still nothing

i used a tinypic link..maybe that helps? i remember back in the day, TK had issues with links that were too long, so we were forced to use tinypic and tinyurl. try uploading the pic to tinypic, upload into "avatar" sized, and use the http:.jpg url.

I tried again this morning and STILL can't do it. Ugh. And part of me doesn't want to put it on tinypic because I was actually going to do a pic of me. I guess I'll try it with a different pic and see what happens...

ETA: it worked! the only thing is, doesn't tinypic 'keep' your photos?
