I don't know if you all remember that my dad had a stroke back in June but he was put back on life support on Monday and yesterday morning we took him off life support and he passed away early this morning. Yesterday he had two good hours and I got a hug and kiss and he called me by my childhood nickname. I was able to hold his hand until the very end. I'm so glad he's no longer suffering. Though he has his flaws, he was a fantastic dad.
