oooomg... yesterday was awful.
Remember that AAA post? I think it jinxed me..

My Saturday vent:

So yesterday H and I had a great trip down to Seattle to visit with friends for the last time before he deploys. While we're down at Kell's he starts getting a really bad headache.. that turns into a migraine (he gets like.. one a year but it's BAD when he does). We leave and get to the parking garage and he throws up for a good ten minutes from the pain.
We take the exit for home aaaaaand

Flat tire.
Eff.
On a hill. So our little cranky thing that lifts the car kept falling because it was at a really awkward grade and an unlevel ground. Eff eff eff. Soooo
We call AAA.
It takes a good 15 minutes for her to even find me in the system because I'm under my mom's membership, but apparently she being in CA and I in WA made things complicated (way to go there guys) so finally she finds me, calls someone out to us.
*waits 55 minutes* (they give the tow truck guy a 60 minute window to get to you)
AAA calls back. oh hey yeah so.. no one is out there that can get to you. too bad so sad "sorry you'll have to use someone else."
umm.. wft is the point ofhaving you guys if you can't come help at 1 am. w.t.f. and why the eff did it take you an hour to figure that out.. bitches.

So we call a local tow guy who was friendly and got there literally 4 minutes after we called him.
Uuuuuugh sucky way to end H's last weekend home. lol
Oh, and yeah. Fuuck you AAA.

It'll be a good day today. DH and I decided we're going to do minimum cleaning (we have Spring cleaning set up for next weekend), and just chill out and watch movies and play with Maya today. I'm super excited.

Also? We're doing sloppy joes for dinner!

Boo rain, we had so much to don in the yard today! But working on diggin up a 5' diameter of wet sod is not worth it. We're going to go Farmer's market then up to Shoreline to get some free rocks...and then since weather sucks probably putz and waste time on Lazy Sunday and maybe do some cleaning.

Kitty is SOOO stinkin cute today! I brought him over to snuggle with his dad for their weekly Dad & Kitty Bill Maher tv watching. Then I snuggled him for 20 minutes...and now cousin replaced me with the kitty snuggles. Spoiled kitty

Spun- uhhh yeah. H knows to never make reservations or plans without letting me at least know what he's doing. I totally agree.. Men [generally speaking, of course], bless them, just... are not as naturally skilled with the planning/organizing..

aaahh Ivan! Same thing on this side (although, not as intense as sod) We were planning to garden it up today aaaand not so much now. lol. Isn't that how it always works out..

Thanks for letting me rant, ladies. I'm not sure what the deal is.. We do have a couple AAA guys in the area, they must have both been too busy last night or something and that's why there wasn't anyone available.. At least it was a minor thing like a flat tire and nothing worse, right
Andplusalso, I blew 300 bucks at the lulu at Pacific Place yesterday.. soooooo I can't complain too much about a little flat tire from Seattle driving haha

speaking of lulu, you guys know there's an outlet in mount vernon, right? it's not much of a discount--the really popular $98 pants are $92, but there are other things that are signficantly marked down. i don't think it's "worth" the trip up north (unless you are FTL!) ..but definitely stop in if you're in the area.

The pants and stuff aren't worth it but I love getting the shorts and tanks on sale for 20bucks. That's always a win. I did have a fluke moment when I got a pair of amaaazing yoga pants for 20 bucks. No joke. Idk how it happened a couple years ago but that started my addiction haha

FTL, I'm so sorry about your sucky trip home last night I'm a migraine sufferer too and that sounds like pretty much the most miserable scenario ever.

We just got home from running Beat the Bridge, breakfast with my dad and brother, and a couple errands. A bunch of the student leaders from church that H and I mentor are coming over for a bbq tonight. Looks like we'll have a soggy, Seattle style bbq, but that's ok. I'm just wishing there was more time for a nap between now and then!

bbq sounds amazing... Such a typical WA thing to do to have to bbq in the rain haha.. Oh well. Hopefully it'll stop by the time you fire it up.

we had a crazy busy day yesterday. I volunteered at the ruby room for 4 hours. then we went straight to costco. then home to put stuff away. then to ikea to get the sectional for our roof deck. then home. invited friends over to bbq and help assemble it. went to bed super late. today we slept in. went to brunch at cafe presse with one of my girlfriends. went to the farmer's market. now cooking and cleaning like mad before our dinner party at 7 .

FTL - I'm sorry about your night last night. That sucks, I can't believe they were just like "sorry can't do anything for you call someone else" they suck.

I should be doing laundry, should be cleaning, should be doing homework, should be working out but instead I am being lazy and watching 90210 on netflix. I hope I can get my butt up and get some stuff done today, but I am enjoying being lazy.
