Anything that was scientifically shown to interfere with conception or implantation went out the window. It sucks, but sometimes you just need a leg up.
I'm not a big drinker to begin with, but I did cut out most dairy and cold foods. Have you read Making Babies?
Cold foods?
What do you mean by cold foods? Like anything not heated? Or can they be room temperature? It may sound like a stupid question, but if someone told me not to eat cold foods, I wouldn't even know what all was included.
And, um, what in the world does it have to do with conception???

It has to do with Chinese Medicine, different "fertility types" have different diet guidelines. It's explained in the Making Babies book, and I'm also seeing an acupuncturist. But in general it means foods that are physically cold and raw foods. The thought is that your body has to work harder to digest those foods and bring up their temperature. I don't always stick to it, but I have noticed a difference in my cycle and energy levels, but I'm also doing acupuncture and taking Chinese herbs so that may have something to do with it as well.
Here's a link to the book, it's by Sami David and Jill Blakeway.
