I love them provided they are homemade and not stale. The premade versions are gross. But I never make them myself because I'm way too impatient to melt the marshmallows properly and mine end up turning all hard and nasty.
I'm totally going to make that Avalanche Bark one of these days though, because that doesn't require marshmallow melting.
We love them, and my dh loves them when I make them, then mix chocolate and butterscotch chips together, melt them, and pour on top, and let it dry/harden. So good.

I love the homemade ones and I REALLY like that DH doesn't care for them at all. Which means I actually get to eat some and he's not all "Oh, you wanted some? Why didn't you eat any in the 24 hours they were on the counter?" as he is with everything else sweet.
They are okay, but not something I ever make myself. If I see them at a party I usually think "eh, boring." but the I eat one and think "oh yeah, these ARE yummy!"
I LOVE them, but I can't makethem b/c I'll eat the whole pan in an hour. A few years ago I made a chocolate/ peanut butter version from a Trader Joes recipe. They were super sweet, but quite yummy.
Way late in this thread, but I LOVE them. So much we may or may not have had a rice krispy treat wedding cake (as "groom's cake" I guess. Was a supplement to the real cake)

I'm on my phone so I and post the link, but google "chocolate yummies" so damn good. Layer of graham cracker, layer of marshmallows, and a layer of Rice Krispies mixed with chocolate and peanut butter. So bad for you, but oh so good.
