The ingredients for avalanche bars were totally purchased about 10 minutes ago
You will be both incredibly grateful and seriously regretful for having made them. Enjoy
Haha. I don't think I've ever called anything "too sweet" before, but holy crap. These may be a first. They're good, but insanely sweet from the white chocolate.
They are absolutely delicious (homemade, not store bought)! I throwing in extra marshmellows and a 1/3c peanut butter to mine. I could eat an entire pan in 4 hours, easy! This post has inspired me to make some.

yes. i just had to reply because i ate some of wan's just now. leftover from yesterday. and because i had some fresh ones this afternoon at a bridal shower. i guess they're all the rage at parties these days. or something.
Way late in this thread, but I LOVE them. So much we may or may not have had a rice krispy treat wedding cake (as "groom's cake" I guess. Was a supplement to the real cake)
Love them! Homemade only, though. And I usually use half Rice Krispies and half Fruity Pebbles. Our house just went through a pan in 5 days, and it was mostly me
five days?? it would only last a day or two tops at our house! ( and there are just 2 of us)
I love them, but only homemade; I also prefer to eat them cold (I keep mine in the refrigerator). And now I think I will be walking up to the grocery store after lunch to buy some marshmallows and rice krispies...
