If we do it the 16th I can't make it until 3pm. I have to work that day, same with the Saturday before. The 17th is obviously out since it is Fathers day. I'm also out of town the 22nd and 23rd (for robbers out there H will be home).
I picked the park across from Juanita beach only because it's huge, flat, grassy and has lots of big trees to provide shade if it's warm. It's also easy walking distance to a great spot for cocktails, and if we work around KB's work schedule, we'll wrap up yoga just in time for happy hour...
How's the parking near Juanita? I hate cranky parking...
Of that list and the ones I know, Golden Gardens sounds great since the parking is decent and then it's just a little hop over to Ray's with lovely view of the water and yummy mouth-filling things.
Brier seems a bit too far north for this Renton gal. Kirkland seems preferable to Lynnwood since having to drive through DT Bellevue is less of a pain than DT Seattle.
given that there is good parking, i'm happy with juanita beach. once we have a for surez location, i'll PM the people who want to join and come up with a good time.

I wanted to suggest also, Pine Lake Park in Sammamish has a big expansive grassy area that is flat. There are nearby covered areas for BBQ/picnic purposes as well. And for "refreshments", we have Pine Lake Ale House, Simone's, and Sammamish Cafe.
Both Juanita Beach and the park across from Juanita Beach (which is where I'm suggesting) have their own parking lots. In fact, the park has two lots. There is also two hour parking in the village, and some street parking nearby. It's pretty easy.
Crestwoods is also a great spot and has ample parking.
