Target clothing is just weird

I went to Target to get another pair of jeans that I bought a few weeks ago. I really like them, comfy, cute, just the right size. I went back today to get another pair in a different wash. Same size, same brand, different wash and the fit was HORRID! I was pissed!

I find this across the board. I now try every single thing on, even it it is just a different color. Annoying.

I just bought jeans there yesterday. I tried on my size in Regular and they fit but were too long, so I switched them for my size in Short (didn't try them on because they were the same other than length).

The Short length was still too long. Ugh. I'm not THAT short!

Their fit is strange. I cannot find a single pair of pants at target that fit me correctly.

That's an issue with any mass produced item. They cut like 10 at a time so some end up small, some big. It's annoying.

I've had that problem with Old Navy and Gap jeans. It's maddening.

I have this problem with Target shirts. I have some that are a size small and others that are a large. I have to try everything on.

I've had this problem at multiple stores, not just Target. I think different washes affect the stretch in the fabric & make some fit better/worse. I could be totally off.

What gets me about Target is their big wall graphic about Find Your Fit! and lists like 6 different fits and their corresponding numbers. Mmmmk, I sound like I should be a #6 or whatever (I don't remember). There are no "fit #6"s to be found in the store. Associate says they don't carry them anymore. THEN OMG WHY ARE YOU GETTING MY HOPES UP WITH THAT CHART. Not everyone fits in the "slim waist, slim hips, slim legs" shape. /rant

I also have this problem. Drives me nuts. Also, does anyone else find that some Target shirts/jackets are cut really really small in the sleeves. I tried on a blazer the other day in a medium and I couldn't even get my arms through the holes! I may not have scrawny arms but they certainty aren't gigantic freaks of nature.

ALL that being said, I freaken love what Target has come out with this fall.

I agree! All their juniors shorts are that fit and I have some hips even though I'm really small. They are so tight around my butt that I don't get them anymore.

I have jeans in a 5 and a 13. Both pairs fit. How the heck does that work?

I have this problem,but I AM that short even short length must be hemmed. So annoying to wait until new pants are shortened to wear them.
