I've still got this sinus infection and I'm almost done with my 2nd round of antibiotics! Are you kidding me? Am I really going to need THREE rounds of antibiotics to get over this?
Every single person I know is sick too! Including my son
Did you try using a neti pot? The same thing happened to me 2 mos ago .. I refused to go on a 3rd bout of antibiotics, so I used the neti pot and it went away. Also, stupid question, but are you 100% positive its a sinus inf?? Cuz I've been "sick" for a month and because the last time being on antibiotics for so long I refused to go to the dr.. but I caved last week and went and turns out its allergies..its not an infection....just a thought
I haven't tried a neti pot but I definitely will! Thanks for the suggestion. I'm pretty sure it's not allergies but who knows right? I have a lot of pain in my head/ face. Will the neti pot help if its allergies?
Are they switching antibiotics?? Maybe your body has developed some resistance to what they are giving you?
I had a terrible sinus infection that would not go away after 2 rounds of antibiotics and then for the third kind, they switched them to a different one and it worked!
I was also advised to tilt my head back for as long as I could during the day so it would help drain whatever I had in there. Try it!!

Wow, the neti pot was nothing short of a miracle!!! Sweet relief!!
Be careful with the neti pot - it can impact your ears, which is usually harder to treat. Instead, use a salt water mixture with a syringe type thing (you can find this at your local pharmacy store). This is better for the ears.
Also, I always had sinus infections caused by severe allergies. I didn't want to keep taking antibiotics so I tried to just deal with it on my own. I ended up really really sick. I had to have surgery to fix all the damage to my nose and my other sinuses where it spread. My ears also got impacted.
Soooo just take the antibiotics. Then once this infection is gone, drain your nose every day (with the syringe or neti pot) and take allergy meds (if allergies are causing it).
Talk to a doc before using the neti pot, it can spread the infection to your ears. That's what it said in the pamphlet mine came with
This. This. THIS!
Look. I used a neti pot once and then I got infected snotty water in my ear and got an ear infection. Also, water spurted out of my eye hole. Maybe my sinuses are just really jacked up, but it was really unpleasant.
I hate Neti Pots. They are handcrafted by Satan himself.

Have you seen an ENT yet? I work for ENT docs. They love the Neti pot or the Neil Med sinus rinses. Could be you haven't been on the "right" antibiotic for your sinus infection yet, but the Neti Pot helps a lot of people too. I use it when I have any nasty head cold/sinus stuff going on and I feel reborn! Could be allergies also since most places haven't had the first frost yet.
