We've been researching places that would adopt out to us & just finally found/picked the one we think we'll go with. My friend w/ 5 bio kid's adopted through them 3 children. If we do it'll be a special needs child probably 3 or older from China. Yes, we'd likely request boy but of course in China they are less available than girls. So we are in the very very beginning stage!

Actually, I think you'll be surprised that within the "special needs" category, there are a number of boys available for adoption from China. I "know" families that have completed such adoptions rather quickly (which in IA terms is about a year).
