morning!! i have my promotion-meeting with my boss today, but i'm not done with the why-i'm-awesome essay, so i gotta work on that. no posting interesting stuff today, okay? thanks.
@ i'm a bad mom with no self control. h and i went to ivars for brunch yesterday, and i snuck in little bites (okay fine, half a bowl) of clam chowder...and bjl still has her cow's milk sensitivity. she screamed the entire ride home (after the zoo, so it was like 3 or 4 hours later when it started affecting her), and when we got home, she threw up majorly. i'm very pro-extended-bf, but this no dairy thing is really really rough, guys!
I'm so exhausted!! I could not fall asleep and stay asleep last night. I have no clue why. I'm working from home today because I didn't even want to try driving into work and having to drive home.

Tman has no school today, so we are still in our pajamas. We might go to the $2 theater later today. Other than that, relaxing is on the agenda for us. Oh, the boy has school pictures on Wednesday, so I should get him a hair cut, too.
Jenn, I wouldn't call a few bites of clam chowder a bad mom move. It sucks that bJL is so sensitive to dairy!
I absolutely have to leave the office on time today (yay!) because we have a new washer/dryer being delivered this afternoon (major yay!). I will probably end up wfh till the delivery people come, but hopefully they aren't late and I get plenty of time to go work out tonight.
The weekend was wonderful. It was sunny and restful and I spent all of it with DH. It was hard to roll out of bed and come in to work, but it's been a fairly productive morning so far.

Also, I wish it would get fall like outside. We went to a pumpkin patch yesterday after church. We didn't go to "THE" pumpkin patch that we always go to, but we won't be able to for a couple weeks still, so we went down into the valley to go to one - got a couple small pumpkins and some gourds for decoration (we'll get our carving pumpkin at the other patch), did the corn mazes, and got some snacks. It really wasn't even fun because I was wearing a sweater and was SO HOT! We are fall people in this house, and we were all just kind of grouchy to be doing these things and have it be nearly 75 degrees outside. People were wearing shorts and tiny tank tops. Crossing my fingers that it will be cool and perhaps even rainy when we go to our regular pumpkin patch in a couple weeks.
BA I was thinking the same thing this weekend. I was out in the backyard doing the oh so fun job of picking up dog poop (ha!) and I was admiring our trees in the backyard. I couldn't believe that all the leaves were still green. Normally by now they would start changing colors and the leaves would start dropping.
I'm tired. It was a very exciting night last night as the Sounders beat Portland. The stadium was crazy with 66k+ crazy soccer fans. It was an absolute blast. There are only 2 home games left until the end of the season and I'm going to miss going to matches.
I have to go to work in a bit. Luckily I have a short day. Hours are so tight at the store that no one can get any and with all my restrictions for Hs play I'm lucky to have the hours that I have. Only a couple more weeks and then he is done with it and my hours can go back to normal.

Good morning! I'm still tired trying to get back into the correct time zone!
Healthy wise I suck. I somehow gained 5lbs on vacation, thats what i get for having my "chef" brother along and splurging while on vacation. Oh well, back on the bandwagon!
I had a pretty good weekend. Went shopping for a bit got a few pairs of pants for work. And, I had to get the next size down. Yay! Saturday night, I met up with a friend for dinner. We went to a tapas place in Mill Creek. It was really good. I didn't feel up to doing anything after dinner, so it was an early night.
Sunday, i went to church, and then decided to go see a movie. I've always been scared of going to the movies by myself. I know, kind of lame, but I decided to conquer that fear, and just do it. I saw Won't Back Down, which was really good. And I enjoyed myself.
This is going to be a busy week for me, lots of social get togethers, but I'm looking forward to them all!
Morning! Tried making a tomato jam yesterday that ended up tasty, but not as "jammy" in consistency as I was hoping. I'd have to add more sugar for that and I don't think I want it that sweet. Will try a different recipe later this week. H made good headway on our herb spiral and I'd say construction is around 60% complete. We took FIL to the Sounder's game, which was awesome. I didn't sleep well last night, 3rd night in a row, bleh. Going to try a new yoga thing tonight! Which means I need to go buy some yoga pants as I only have loungey knit pants and always feel so dowdy compared to everyone.
Oh, and I'm officially back on my fitness program :-( I need to lose at least 3 more pounds for my clothes to fit more comfortably and to be in a safer weight fluctuation zone. Back to logging food and wearing my fitbit. I'm aiming for 3 pounds by Halloween.

Morning! I'm exhausted today as I was up late last night trying to get my application together for a potential new job. Plus the previous two nights DH and I were sleeping on a pull out since we had a 1-bedroom condo in Leavenworth and it was not comfortable.
But great weekend, and I PR'd the 1/2 marathon with a time of 1:54:29!
This week I have two girls nights out - tomorrow night with two close friends and Thursday night with some mom's from DD's school. Then Saturday night DH and I have a much needed date night. Should be a fun week!
