My weekend was alright. Saturday was spent.....I can't recall. Umm.....I know we did some cleaning and we went grocery shopping. I really don't remember the rest so it was probably just errands as usual.

Sunday we all got up late. Jelly Bean didn't wake until after 10am. K woke up with back pains so no one was in a hurry to do anything. I felt like I had to write my plan, attempted to, and just became frustrated. It was then K suggested I run errands with her and JB and use today to focus on the plan. So that was that. K bought some Halloween decorations, I did a few returns that were on my list, and then I took us all out to dinner.

Now, although a day off, I'm 'working' on my potential business. So far, so good. But I have to pee and I don't really want to gather up my laptop and purse just to pee. Can I trust the starbucks customers not to steal my laptop? There are two people sitting at the table with me. I guess if one tries to run off it with, the other will stop him/her. Yes? lol! Clearly I just don't want to go back to writing :-p

Saturday we had breakfast with the IL's, then hung out at home not doing much of anything.

I decided to go to church on Sunday, the church was great and it felt so right to be there. The girls told me that there were three other kids in the Kid Zone that have two moms, they really liked it. We had lunch with J after church, ran an errand, and met BIL back at the house to sign away J's truck. We had dinner at the IL's and came home to put the kids to bed.

Friday: I met up with A and her friend C who was visiting from Missouri. We had dinner at the cheesecake factory and then went to the indoor skydiving tunnel. It was a ton of fun, the first time in the tunnel for C and I (though I've jumped out of a plane 3 times now) and I worked on my skydiving skills which will hopefully help when I'm able to jump again. Then we crashed at my place.

Saturday: We had brunch at my fave local spot and then headed to Mt. Rainier. We went on a nice shorter hike and enjoyed taking in the views. The weather was stunning for October in the Seattle area. Afterwards we grabbed dinner, went home for showers and decided not to go out dancing since we were all tired. We headed to A's place for the night to be closer to our Sunday fun.

Sunday: We had brunch at a place close to A's. Then we drove to a zipline course and spent 2 hours zipping. It was a ton of fun in a beautiful wooded course. I can't wait to go again, maybe somewhere in Canada where there seem to be a lot of them. Afterwards we grabbed dinner at an ale house, went home to meet up with another friend and then watched the John Stewart/Bill O'Reilly debate from Saturday night.

Friday we had a funeral. Friday evening Annie was so out of sorts we went to bed at 10 to eight. We were both asleep in minutes.

Saturday we went to Boo at the Zoo at the Bronx Zoo. It was a lot of fun. The weather was odd. It started off really hot then the temps dropped and it seemed it was going to storm at any time - but it held off and we got to see all the stuff we wanted to.

Sunday was a day by myself since Carol was at work and Annie went to my MiL's. I went and finished buying her Christmas presents. One thing off my list. Then I went to work.

Our weekend was packed and good. On Saturday, I taught BFing class, dropped off a bunch of donations, ran a couple errands and then prepped for a party. The party went well and made me happy to have a nice home, good food/wine and lots of community to share it with.

Sunday I went to the first day of a six-week anti-racism organizing institute. I've done this work in various levels/capacities for years, but I'm excited to be immersed in it for then next month and a half. Then I went to a final client postpartum meeting which was lovely. I finished the day off at the spa for a sauna, massage, shower and pedicure. Bliss!

Vermont! I left work early on Friday to go home and prepare. When DW got home we got in the car and drove northward.

Saturday we had a lazy breakfast and played with the nephews, then got in the cars and drove to King Arthur baking store, Cabot, Danforth pewter, etc. We rode a funny little kids train and the carousel, then ate dinner out, and went back to the house.

Sunday we went out to breakfast (raspberry apple pancakes!) and then to a farm/petting zoo place. BIL made us beef wellington for dinner and chocolate cheesecake.

Monday we went to another farm and bought pumpkins and played in corn and took a horse and wagon ride and played with kids activities. On the drive home I dropped DW at the airport and then did the last few hours alone.
