Good morning ladies! Hope you all had a great weekend. Now is a great time to check out places like Target and Michaels for Halloween stuff on clearance. You can use so much stuff to make a cute lunch if you get a little creative!
Here are last weeks lunches.
Monday was purple day PB&j sandwich. I used a butterfly cutter to make the cutout so you can see the grape jelly. A few purple hearts give the butterfly some pizazz! Some purple grapes with a cute pick, and some blueberry Greek yogurt.
Thanks! They're probably on Pinterest, but my friend texted me a picture of them when I told her I needed a cute snack that was 100% commercially prepared and packaged. The original had mini pretzel rods for the arms but I couldn't find those
madringal-do you soak the apples before putting them in the lunch? I've stayed away from apples because I'm afraid DD won't eat them if they turn brown.
I put them in a little bowl and sprinkle a little apple juice over them. If they are sliced up, I dip each side in the apple juice. It prevents them from turning brown. I do the same thing if I put half a banana in her lunch too.
