I posted two weeks ago about my trip to the E.R. I have a peri gestational hemorrhage (or SCH). I have had two major bleeds and we are terrified. Two weeks ago, my doctor gave us a 70% chance of delivering a healthy baby.
We knew it would be good news if the clot was shrinking, which is what we heard today. Now the clot is about half the size it was. This is great, I gather, but my doctor is still being super cautious.
Ugh. I'm terrified, in the immediate sense, of having a bleed at school. Or in the middle of a grocery store. Obviously, in the long term sense, I'm just plain terrified. Doc says I can stop worrying when I get to 24 weeks (I'm 16 now).
Anyway, lots of thanks in advance for your continued prayers and positive thoughts.

How long did it take to get to half it's size? I hope it just goes away completely for you.

I think the last measurement was from the E.R. Trip on Wednesday, September 26th.
Sending you prayers. It is shrinking and this is great news. Soon the Placenta will be so large that the SCH will no longer be a issue. Sending you some positive vibes.
It is so good to come back here and see these positive messages. For some reason, I am so much more negative this week than I was after last week's appointment.
I am so sorry you are dealing with this, but so glad that the clot is shrinking. Hope the next 8 weeks pass quickly and without any more bleeding and that you can breathe a small sigh of relief soon.
