I have a job interview on Thursday at a law firm for a legal secretary position. I have been a legal secretary before, but that was at a public defenders office in a LCOL city. Most recently I was also offered a position for secretary at my last firm, so I know what they would have paid there, but again, LCOL and small firm (when I left, a new associate just started and made 50k womp womp) I have no idea what number I should be thinking. FWIW, on the firms website, they list the starting salary for first years and it's mid 100's...so I don't think they would be super cheap with their staff, but who knows.
I tried google, but random numbers seems so unreliable, anyone have any other suggestions?

Glassdoor.com is my go-to site for salary things. You could also look at salary.com or maybe the dept of labor to see if they have data. Your true value will likely be some intersection of those figures.
Well hot damn, I guess I won't mind if glassdoor is about right, lol...though that will make it hard to not take...which mean leaving a job that I truly love (but isn't paying the bills) for a job that I might like but will definitely pay the bills.

Such is life I guess
Don't get too excited. As someone who has worked for both the company that owns Salary.com and the company that owns the links below. I must more so recommend the link I posted. This link calculates by zip and takes into accounting the salary of recently opened and filled positions in year area.
