I've been to see a counselor a couple of times since August. The first claim that they processed came back and said that she was out of network, even though I found her number through the Cigna website. A few more claims just posted, and they're all showing out of network, and now I owe like $1200. I called Cigna, and they said that I saw her at a different address than she's contracted at, so that's why. I called the counselor and she was a jerk and told me to contact her biller, so I have an email out to her.
When I initially contacted her, I called the number on the cigna website, which was for the biller. The biller gave me the counselor's number, and the counselor told me to go see her at the other address. I guess I just assumed that she had moved and would still be contracted there. Is there anything I can do? Do I have a leg to stand on?
