I know bi/girl crush polls have come up once in a while, but I'm wondering if anyone here was a Lesbian Until Graduation or Bisexual Until Graduation*. I guess if there's another guy lurking he can include Gay Until Graduation, if that happens.

* And yes, "I may have made out with a girl or two" counts as BUG. It doesn't have to be a full-on relationship.

Ditto jennuinne. Never heard of the terms so I'm not sure how to answer the poll. I've made out with a girl, I liked it- but really it was more "I liked the reaction the boys gave us".

i've never heard them either. i've thought of it once but kissed a girl in junior high.. never as an adult. it was weird and not really sexual. i couldn't do anything now... i answered ss because i couldn't figure out how to answer.

Yeah I would say snarky rather than derogatory, but it's the same idea ... the guys were never sure who was actually gay and who was just a LUG/BUG because (a) guys thought it was hot or (b) it was a way to avoid dating guys, or (c) maybe it really is a "phase" for some people.

My BFF had a huge crush in high school on someone who turned out to be a LUG -- they even went to college within 20 miles of each other. He's happily engaged but I'm sure he wonders What Might Have Been every once in a while.

EDIT: and in case anyone is curious, the Seattle Nestie Dude voted "I tried it once, didn't do anything for me."
