She is doing great, much much better now that her bottom two teeth are in. She is sleeping pretty much through the night again. The last two mornings she woke up about 6:00ish, I nursed her and put her back down in bed and she slept until 8:15 again, but that is when I woke her up to get ready for our day.
Other than that she is her usual happy self, she loves her "jolly"jumper and jumping as well as sitting, she isn't a huge fan of laying anymore. I can't believe she is almost 6 months already!! Time sure flys
Good, I really enjoy working there. It's busy, and I can't wait for harvest season to be over and for things to slow down a bit. That way hopefully I can get home early one or two times every other week again. I dislike the way things are now because I'm usually not out of there at 5 like I'd like to be. The last couple weeks it been around 5:15-5:30ish before I'm leaving work. OH well I guess it just goes with the job.
The thing I like about it the most is that I grew up on a dairy farm so it's nice to be back on a dairy.
I love it for the most part. There's days that it would be so nice to be able to just run and not have to deal with baby, but that being said I wouldn't change it!
I know you had some complications after delivery how has everything healed at this point?
Things are back to normal.. I do feel my scar left from the c-section every once in a while.. usually because a waistband rubs against it funny or I stretch it more than usual. Other than that the issues I had with spotting and stuff eventually cleared up and got better.
It's a dutch meal. You cook potato's carrots and a half an onion together, and cook with metworst on top. Once potato's are done you mash it all together and add some butter and milk so it's not dry. Eat it with sausage and applesauce.
Since you live generally near a large number of wineries, do you have a favorite?
So far the Columbia Crest - out towards Patterson. Other than that I have to admit I haven't even been to close to 1/4th of the wineries in the valley.. guess I should work on that
Favorite freezer meal? Do you have a website or cookbook as a go-to source for freezable meals?
Shepherds Pie. It's a recipe in a cookbook that my Mom has had for years.. not even sure which one. I make it without the recipe. Other than that I don't use a cookbook for freezer meals but just put our favorites in the freezer.
