DSW let me down yesterday, so I'm turning to you! Please help me find black pumps for work. ETA: Size 9!
I love heels and have no trouble walking in them, but I tend to think 3" (maybe 4") is plenty for day-to-day work shoes. Is that about right?
And for these basics in my new wardrobe, I think I need a regular (matte) material. I have nothing against patent leather, but shouldn't those be a fun addition a little later, rather than what I plan to wear a few days a week? A little sheen is okay, but downright shiny just doesn't seem right for every day.
Feel free to advise me on actual heel style. I tend to favor thin heels, as I imagine them to be slimming for my heavier legs, and chunky heels just rub me the wrong way. But if I'm behind the times, school me.
DSW didn't have anything I liked, but their prices were roughly $45 - $55, and I guess I'm aiming to stay in that ballpark.
In addition to shoe suggestions, will one of you shopoholics please send me some mojo? I am more than willing to spend some money, if I can only find cute stuff that looks good on me!
They are SO comfy because they have memory foam in the sole. And although they are from Payless, they don't look cheap. I just bought another pair in tan this weekend!

This review of them is priceless:
We both love them!October 7, 2012 Pros: size for me and my husband I love these heels! they are like walking on a cloud! I love them so much, I went back and got the size 13 for my husband! Since he loves it when I wear heels, I make him wear them too! ;-) (just around the house)!
