I'm 36 weeks 3 days. Had a dr's appt. yesterday and BP was fine, for me (112/86), though she did say she didn't want to see it go any higher. Have another dr's appointment next Tuesday.
I developed a nagging headache yesterday afternoon, went to bed with it, and woke up with it at 5am. My fingers are slightly swollen. I haven't had any swelling with this pregnancy so it's odd to have my rings fit snugly instead of loose like normal.
I am working from home in the afternoons this week in an effort to keep the BP in check. I stopped at the gym and checked my bp on the way home at lunch. The first was 154/89 (!), after which I checked it two additional times (148/86 and 144/83). The headache is mostly gone.
I feel fine, but I'm pretty panicked about the projects I need to wrap up before having this baby. At what point would you call the dr's office to check in about the BP? Maybe I'll run over to the gym and check it again before dinner and see if it's fallen since leaving the office?
UPDATE: I went home yesterday afternoon and worked from the couch. Checked my BP at 4, it was lower though still not great. I called the dr and she said to keep monitoring it for the next 24 hours and call her with updates. A friend lent me her BP cuff, and after a good night's sleep last night (finally!), it was back within the range of normal (for me). I'm going to check it every 4 hours and work from home again this afternoon. So, monitoring...
