I do my first morning feeding, wait an hour, then I get about 8 ounces (4 from each side). I think I may produce more milk than normal. But I've always read that pumping in the morning about an hour after feeding is the perfect time.
You're not going to get a ton if you pump after she eats. At 2.5w I wouldn't worry about pumping. Once she goes a slightly longer stretch at night you can pump an hour or two after her night feed or an hour after her first am feed.
I'm 8 weeks pp and I also get 1-2 oz per pump. I have had supply issues, and we do supplement with formula. I too worry about how we're going to fare when I go back to work (2 weeks--eep!)

I agree that you aren't going to get anything if you pump right after she eats. I have zero supply problems and if I pump after DS eats I will only get 1-2oz total too. When I pump at work I get 6 oz the first pump and 4 oz the second.
Why did your pedi recommend supplementing? Was it based on the pump amount? Or some other factor?

This is what I do on weekends and I get about 2 - 3 ounces from each breast. When I am pumping at work I get more like 3 to 4 ounces on each side.
When I first started pumping I would only get about an ounce from each side. Over time though my breasts responded better to it which I have heard is normal.
