This is why I'm a better parent than DH

DH was sitting with the little guy on the couch, having a beer. (DH was having a beer, the little guy is still on breastmilk)

I got called to quickly bring over a paper towel or washcloth because somehow DH managed to spill his beer all over the baby.

See - I would NEVER waste beer by pouring it on our child.

Did he knock into the glass? I was holding Li and drinking a martini and she smacked the glass and martini spilled all over her.
The think I was most upset about was I was wearing a suede shirt and I had to get it cleaned... the fact that Li reeked of vodka, eh, I was hoping maybe she swallowed a little and it would help her sleep...

My poor kid didn't know what hit him. He wasn't near the glass. He was laying on the couch playing with a toy when his entire side got drenched. I found some dried beer in his ear later on.

Nope. Up every hour from 11-2. Then 5:30, then 6:30. He's so congested he can't sleep and apparently beer doesn't help.

Yes! I also watch Ice Loves Coco (when I surf and catch it) and actually saw this episode!
I'm actually holding my daughter against my chest while she is napping and I just sent DH to get me a glass of wine! I don't want to spill it on her, but since I'm down to my last 2 weeks before I have to go back to work from maternity, why else wouldn't I have a glass of wine at 2pm on a Monday? Isn't it the most appropriate thing to be doing while on this board??
