The oldest clothes that still fit and don't look out of date are over 30 years old (suits / blazers, leather motorcycle jacket); however, I do not wear them regularly. I have a corset that was my grandmothers... probably circa 1950 or earlier. It used to have a price tag on it that said $1.25 but that fell off like 20 years ago.
I have a pair of Gap jeans from high school that still fit. They're bootcut and low slung but a faded blue color that I hardly ever wear. I'm just happy they still fit, lol.
A Northwestern t-shirt from when I visited there the first time my junior year in high school. It has sentimental value and still fits and is super soft now.

I have a pair of jeans from 1997 that I use when doing painting or landscaping projects. They have four buttons to close and I've replaced all of them with mismatched stiched on buttons. They are so comfy!
I only started wearing decent clothes in the past few years, so I haven't had much reason to keep items from high school or college. I wore such baggy clothes in high school and college that they look terrible now. I have a few t-shirts from college (2000-2004), and a dress shirt from 2005 that I wear a few times a year. That's the oldest thing I can think of.
When I was 5 or 6 my dad designed a shirt for his company. They had a bunch so he brought some home for me in an adult's large and x-large. I still have the shirts and will wear them to bed and around the house. I would wear them out but they are the color of a yellow highlighter, thus a little too bright. But I love that I still have them.

Holy crap this. I saw the title before I saw my name as the OP and was starting to ask myself why someone would ask this question again.

Two Gap blazers from my junior and senior years of high school, so that'd make them 12 to 13 years old. One is black suede, the other tan canvas. Classics that still go with a bunch of things!

That I still wear REGULARLY? Sweatpants from high school dance team (I lounge in them.) So, about 20 years old. That I still wear in public? Some of my Brooks Brothers button down dress shirts are 12+ years old (bought them for interviews my Sr year of college) and they are still in perfect condition.
I do have the class T-shirt I got when I "moved up" from elementary school to middles school that I will wear occasionally when I garden. Elementary class of 1990, baby!

I'm almost 30 and I regularly wear a pretty fitted knit top from 8th grade. I still wear some shoes from 7th grade too.
ETA: It was a special occasion top so it didn't get too much wear and tear. It fits nicely though it's a bit shorter since I've filled out a bit (in all areas).

I have a flannel shirt from J. Crew that is a small red and white houndstooth pattern that I have had since high school that I wear when I am having a "poor me" day. I also have a sweatshirt from my college that I bought my freshman year of college, which was 1994, so it's 18 years old. I wear it pretty often.
An LBD from 1999-2000'ish shows up from time to time, aka whenever I can squeeze myself in.
Otherwise, a sheer black cowlneck that was my first purchase from Ann Taylor; which cost me a big penny of $48, after my first industry job in 2000. I felt like a full-pledged professional; considering my tops range from $15-$20 before that purchase.
A sweatshirt from Banana Republic. Its just a simple sweatshirt, standard looking, completely faded out and stretched out by use/time. It has BR across the front. It has more DNA in it than thread at this point. Freakin' old. I'm sure I wore it all through college, but I think I got it back in H.S.

my band shirt from 5th grade (1995). I just grew into it recently! I wear it to school for some spirit days. It still looks brand new, since I only wore it 2 times, once in 5th and once in 6th grade, then it just hung out in my nostalgia pile.
I have a fitted jean shirt from 1995 that I wear regularly - it has a little bit of stretch and looks fantastic with leggings and boots, or under a blazer with a scarf at work. Randomly incredibly in good shape and so comfy.
Also have a pair of fitted, slighly flared khakis from 1997 that are great on the weekend, but would never wear thhem to work! They are fraying a bit, but look good.
Both items are from Abercrombie.
Like V, I have some shoes and bags that are 10 - 15 years old, but include Gucci and LV bags and Blahniks, so I expect them to last practically forever. My go-to work bag was one I purchased myself for graduating from college many years ago
I have heavy heeled brown Union Bay leather loafers from my pre-Scotland days (I think 1997). The good sole makes them great for walking on campus with winter or rainy weather, so they get used all the time in the winter. They slip on and off, so it's super convenient to change shoes (too lazy for laces lol). And I have such a difficult time finding any practical boots that are easy to put on/take off so they'll be really hard to replace. I sadly noticed once of the soles has now cracked, and I suspect this year is their last run
I have also kept a great classic grey wool blazer from my mom; it probably dates from the late 70's. I need my breast reduction for it to fit, but I'm holding onto it for when that day comes!
