Now that all the shows are over for the summer, I want to download a TV show so I can watch an episode here and there over the summer. Any recs? Current shows I like are The Good Wife, Grey's Anatomy, Once Upon a Time, and Homeland. Someone recommended Battlestar Galactica to me, but that seems kinda...weird. But maybe it's good, maybe I should try it.
I've heard Battlestar Galactica is the bomb. The name makes it seem Trekkie/weird but it's supposed to be a really good representation of real life. Or something.
Homeland is awesome. They've only done 1 season and the 2nd is taking forever to come out if you don't mind catching up and waiting. Claire Danes has earned my eternal admiration and respect for her kick ass acting in that show.
Walking Dead is pretty sweet if you can stomach it. I imagine not everybody can - I am shocked at the gore they get away with showing. They're done with season 2 now but I've only made it through season 1 (plus a few eps of season 2) so far. I heard the 2nd season finale was mind blowing.
Um, what else? Revenge is fun but I'm very slowly getting through the first season. I am a vengeful person, though, and that seems to aid in my enjoyment of it. We watched the few few eps of Hell on Wheels and I get a kick out of the Old West historical aspect of it. Same with Boardwalk Empire and the Prohibition era.
If you don't like scifi (I do, but only if well done), Damages is a GREAT show nobody ever talks about. Suspense, great writing, great take on contemporary issues.
