I had to get "repaired" after my first. They used local numbing only and did some stitching and used some silver nitrate. It was honestly not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, mine wasn't infected though. Good luck!!
That sucks I had a screwed up stitch job that I've lived with for 3.5yrs...I just talked to the OB & they're gonna try & fix it at delivery of this baby but I/DH have to remember to mention it at the birth! I hope you get a good option worked out & quick new recovery.

I'll be doing something similar to this on Monday due to a labial and internal tears not healing right. Hugs to you, I literally feel your pain!!
Thanks, everyone. Apparently my body rejected the stitches or dissolved them prematurely. I'm trying to focus on the positive and hope that the recovery from the repair is easier than the original.
Hang in there, recovery was much easier after the repair than anticipate and actually went more smooth than an uncomplicated vag delivery without eleven million stitches that I just went through a couple months ago
