What's on your playlist?

After a stingy stretch, I've found I'm buying music again. Mind you, I'm using gift cards and promo credits so there's still frugality involved.

So what's in your head? What's captured your heart recently? What should I give a listen?

I plan on buying music this afternoon, but I am in the mood for Dire Straits, the Police and Bruce Springsteen, not sure if that is much help to you, lol.

Lately I've been into Matisyahu -- I have had One Day playing in a loop in head for weeks. I'm also really into The Maccabeats, the a capella group from Yeshiva University.

More mainstream, I've been into Brandi Carlile and Courtney Jones. DH has been playing a great deal of Pink Floyd/David Gilmour/Roger Waters and I am over that -- I am not a fan. But when we want music we can both agree on, George Harrison and Simon & Garfunkel are on the playlist. My personal playlist also includes a surprising lot of Bing Crosby and U2. But I'm known for my eclectic tastes.
