Both of these lists seem great. I would really stress emergency situations or accidents, making sure they have a plan & crying. How will babysitter deal with upset baby?
We are emailing now trying to come up with a date and a place to meet up to get to know each other (ie I judge her and decide if I trust her with my baby which is kind of huge). Is it too much if I ask her to friend me on Facebook first so I can begin judging before we even meet? Or is that too personal? Because really, leaving my baby in her care is about as personal as it gets, so I would like to know at least how she portrays herself publicly (although I searched heron Facebook already and her name isn't searchable which is a good sign). But I don't want to be a psycho either. So tell me what you think. To request Facebook friendship or not to? ETA Alzi talked me down. But I'm not sure I'm ready to leave her with a random person that I don't know without certifications and registrations and all that jazz. I just need to do more research. I'm going to join care.

When are you looking for a Sitter. Is it something that you would consider one of us who might be willing? or are you looking for someone who would be your go to person.
