Oh no! I want to cloth diaper with my next kid, but I have a fear of that happening. We don't have a dryer and I worry that in the winter it takes 2 days for laundry to dry usually. Mmml, but we do have a local diaper service that provides you with all the cloth diapers you need once a week and then takes all the dirty ones away and washes them. It's cheaper than disposables and still better for the environment so I am swaying that way.
I switched at 9m and I really like it. It's taken some trial and error to figure out what works for us but overall it's been great. Yesterday's drying fiasco was more my fault for not paying attention. Oops.

This is what my parents did. If my mom happened to need more she would just wash a few herself.
