The only people that send us packages from home are my mother and MIL. They always alert us when the package is showing up as if they don't trust the US or the Aussie postal service. Today we received a surprise package. It was from my grandmother who is BSC. I love her and she loves us. (I used to be her favorite then I married DH and that became her favorite, then we had DS and that became her favorite.)
I half expected a cat to be in the box she's so coo-coo. She sent us toys and clothes for DS. All things that came from garage sales (nothing wrong with that). But some of the clothes were for girls (a bright pink and bright orange fleece sleeper) and a pair of pants that was for size 0-3 months. I almost cried tears of joy and laughter at the same time.
I'm so appreciative of what she did but she still works at 73 years old and has a very limited income. I'm sure she thought the people at the post office were pulling her leg when they told her the price of getting the box over here to Australia. I can't wait to call her tomorrow and tell her thank you.
Maybe she bought the girl's stuff in hopes that this next one is a girl? Do you know/are you finding out the sex?
No, we're Team Green for this next one. At the beginning of this pregnancy we thought we would be done for sure. I've always wanted three and DH was okay with two, now he says he may want three.

How great!!
I once had a family friend who does NOT have money to spare make and send me brownies. She told me that was the last time she'd ever do that after she found out the price!
