There was a minor outbreak of craziness yesterday but it was really pretty small and uneventful. Nothing major is planned for today (not that the crazy stuff comes out of planned protests) at Boeing's headquarters.
I'm just hoping we make it until 5 or 6 p.m. today with things as they have been, and then we can call this whole weekend a success!
Pretty uneventful - I came in to the office today (west loop) - pretty dead down here. So far, haven't seen much of anything.
I saw on the news a little coverage of yesterday - but for the most part, seemed to be relatively peaceful (except for a very small clash with police yesterday).
Here. Working from home again and good thing, too. PTS woke up this morning and told me her ear felt like "fire." I accused her of making it up so she could stay home and then "threatened" to take her to the doctor, which she took me up on. I told her that the doctor would know she was making it up and she would get in trouble, so she needed to think about whether she actually wanted to go. Kid has a full-blow pus and ooze ear infection. And a bad mom.
I took her to Burger King for French Toast sticks to make up for it. Which probably makes me an even worse mom.
Anyway, not going into the office. My boss did, though and her said it's a ghost town.
Ah, that doesn't make you a bad mom! Ben complained last year that his legs hurt and he refused to walk. We thought it was either growing pains or maybe he didn't want to go camping (we had reservations in Rocky Mountain and were all packed and ready to go). We also threatened him with the doctor and it turned out he had a strep infection in his joints. I didn't even know that was possible!
