Brought to you by my need to think positive after a 4:45 wake up for the day.
H has learned to stack, so she's obsessed with trying to stack everything. It usually ends up as pile, but I appreciate her intent.
After only using silverware about 5x ever, she suddenly used her fork to get about 90% of her pork, green beans and mashed potatoes in her mouth last night. Weirdo.
This poor first kid, we celebrate every tiny step like she just won a medal. You know it's bad when she puts a block in the bin and claps and yells "Yay!" to herself. Lol.

DS kicked his baby talk up full force this week. He now says dada in addition to mama. Except he mainly says dada when he is playing with toys and mama when he wants food. I guess I know my place in our family!
He has also learned to stack, although most of the time he stacks the block and them immediatelly picks it up and eats it!
He has gotten really good at climbing, which is probably not something I should be excited about. But at daycare they divide the play area and food area by a low shelf. All the kids obey the shelf wall except for DS who crawls on top of it and turns around and lowers himself down the other side. At least he doesn't plunge head first off anything anymore.
Oh, and he is starting to wave bye most of the time when I saw bye to him at daycare. I love it!
ETA: I will add one more. He loves to help me with the landury. He picks up everything and puts it in the laundry basket #starting him early.
DD just had a huge brain explosion. Just in the last few weeks, she is clapping, playing "So big!", saying "hi", "off", "up", "PopPop", and walking with a walker. She also has started motioning as if she's putting food in her mouth when she's hungry.
Wow for the acro kid. Kari, my kid also does the "dada" for fun and "mama" for food. And she loves to clap too.
Everytime music comes on, she stops what she is doing immediatley and starts bopping. Then she makes her way over to the Tv table and pulls up so she can lean and dance. I guess it is a good height?
