Vents and other Friday thoughts

We are going to a wedding tonight and I don't know anyone that is going to be there, and barely know the groom (ex-coworker of my H). But I am greatly looking forward to it soley for the wedding cake. I hope there's both a wedding cake and a groom's cake.

I have a cold and I hate it!! We had a babysitter all lined up for a date tonight but I cancelled because I feel like death. Awful timing for my first pp cold.

It's a wondfo. I seriously could be imagining it which is why I am not calling it a BFP yet, lol. But DH said he thought he saw it too, so I'm hopeful.

I still have not gotten to schedule my NT appt. I'm about a 20 in anger right now, but there's not much I can do on a Friday afternoon when the doctor's office closed at 1 and the woman assured me the girl was going to call and schedule it herself. Yet here I sit with no phone call back, no appt and only next week when I can do it b/c I'm OOT for work the following week.

I used to really like this office when I was just a gyn patient, I don't know why they suck so much for obstetrics.

Today has been awesome.

DH went into work at like 6 am today so that he could leave at 10. We took the girls to the pumpkin farm (complete with hayrides, mazes, slides, petting zoo, and all kinds of other activities) this morning. We all had a blast!

It's also such a beautiful fall day out that it's putting me in a good mood. The trees are so pretty and I love the cooler weather. We're thinking of having a bonfire tonight, too, since it might be the last one of the season. It would be the perfect end to a perfect day.

Aw - H got the results for his second SA back and a lot of his numbers doubled!

Vent- The numbers were shit to start with, so don't think our options will change.

DS2 threw up one time today again and it was a bucketful. He had no formula today, but refused to drink the last of the freezer stash. We got Alimentum today so we can try it out before he has to drink it on Monday. I tried calling the pedi when I got home from work to see about testing for a cow's milk sensitivity, but they went on the service early. Grrrr.

Vent: my DD3 is trying to survive on mik & any junk carb she can get her hands on. I really wish she'd just eat something before she turns into a skeleton.
