Friday-girls night out at the shooting range. I shot my first hand gun and did really well! ;D
Saturday-had a first date with the last POF guy I am talking to before taking my break. The date lasted 4 hours of walking around a park and just talking! THen at night, my sister and I went out to a dueling piano bar!
Sunday-Did some shopping, got my hair done, and then had second date with the guy from Saturday.
Thor and I made dinner on Friday and watched old episodes of The Twilight Zone.
Saturday morning, I had to be on campus by 8 to meet the printer's delivery of Commencement programs. Approved them, returned back home and crawled into bed with Thor until noon, when he had to wake up to go to work. He doesn't normally work on Saturdays, but since it was graduation weekend (and the bar where he works is right near campus), they wanted all hands on deck. It was dead and he got cut after 2 hours, so I met him there, and we had lunch and a few drinks. Back to my place for a nap before he did his radio show. He returned after radio, and we had dinner.
Sunday was graduation, and it was the first nice day in my 8 years working here. Arrived at 8, worked until about 1, when the whole thing was over. Ran home and changed, and Thor picked me up to go to his parents' house. We were at the family party until about 8:30, and I ate a ton and drank a ton and did shots with his mom, and his sister and I exchanged numbers and are going to hang out soon, and his aunt said I looked like Kate Middleton, which isn't even true, but was nice of her to say. And then I was passed out cold at 9 p.m. and slept until 7:30 this morning.
It was really low-key, which was nice. We went out furniture shopping on Saturday. I found a couch that I really like and now I just have to figure out if I want a loveseat and a chair to match it or if I just want two chairs. Arrrggghhh decisions!
BF and I also stopped at a jeweler while we were out and officially began looking at rings. I got my finger sized and showed him some styles that I liked. I don't think a proposal is imminent in the near-near future, so simma down.
Sunday was a rainy day, so we spent the day doing some spring cleaning. Every surface in the house was either dusted, scrubbed, or vacuumed. It was tiring, but immensely satisfying.
Really busy! Friday I spent it with friends. First hanging out with a friend who I haven't really hung out with in awhile. Then another friend's birthday dinner. Saturday was spent at a fundraiser even in full renaissance garb. Sunday was spent at the zoo.

Pretty awesome!
Friday: Movie night with some girlfriends
Saturday: Took (and passed!) the basic NRA intro class. Went wine tasting with a girlfriend afterwards, then went out for dinner and drinks with BF and another couple.
Sunday: Brunch with BF, then we went and bought wood to build him a new bed, then went to a play with a bunch of friends, and went to a cookout with same friends afterwards.
Friday- Worked, came home, watched a movie. Completely vegged out on my couch. Saturday - Took a nice walk in the local park, went shopping, and managed to cook without burning my house down. Sunday - Gardening!

Mine was great!
Friday and Saturday were pretty uneventful - just hung with BF and helped him move (more, hopefully he's almost done)
Sunday - he helped me wash and wax my car! It looks GREAT now compared to what it did. Then we ended up grilling out, having a couple beers and just hanging out on the patio for the evening. I really LOVE how we can just hang out and do pretty much nothing and still enjoy ourselves!

I was crafty all weekend. I painted two dinning rooms chairs and recovered the seats. I love them. I also painted a lamp and redid the lamp shade. Cleaned up the patio and had lunch outside on Sunday. I also rearranged my bedroom. I have many half projects started that I need to finish.

I had a really nice weekend. Went to dinner with a couple of friends on Friday night, Saturday afternoon I spent at my sister's visiting with my newborn nephew. He is a week old today His big brother is so proud and so cute with him. Saturday night I went out to a bar on the water with a friend. Met a cute guy and exchanged numbers. Yesterday I spent the day with ex-bf at the beach and his family's beach cottage, his sister came with her kids too. I guess maybe ex-bf isn't the appropriate title anymore? We've been seeing more of each other and having the "what if " talks about getting back together. Planning to see each other again this week before I go away for the holiday weekend.
The new guy I was seeing for the past two months ended up being a total lying douche! I hope he rots in hell!
ExH decided after 8 months of being separated that it was time to get his sperm checked! I get the call from my doctors office on Friday with the "news" and I was never so floored in my life being told his results. A heads up would've been nice but I don't expect him to be so considerate of my feelings anyways. So why start now, right? ugh
And after dog sitting for my boss this weekend, I go back to my parents house to find out that our family dog of 15 years is very ill and will probably be put down today. I'm devestated.
Friday night-ladies night out and fashion show for Soroptomist Club
Saturday-tutoring session then hung out with DS. Studied A LOT, made cookies, washed my car with DS, went for a walk with DS, had dinner with my mom. Went to bed by 9:15-so boring these days!
Sunday-got up super early to study, went to the gym, got wood chips and plants for the yard. Spray painted my front porch furniture set black (it was looking rusty), spray painted my two bar stools in the kitchen, studied, went for a walk with DS, went to dinner at a friends while DS was with XH.
Bowies, that's so exciting (even if it isn't imminent!)!
CLW, sorry to hear about your doggie.
Starburst, be careful if you get back together with your ex...think it over well. Remember, ex's are ex's for a reason!
Redredwine, you'll love shooting! It's very empowering and a lot of fun!
Agreed. I guess the thing is I don't really know WHAT that reason is. It all ended kind of abruptly, when we had really been very happy. I guess the answers to that will determine if it's possible to be happy together again.
friday-met with florist, found out price of blue orchids and orchids in general going up, so that increased the flower bill for the wedding, added a few other things, praying will end up with blue orchids thanks to the news that the major producer of them that they buy from in Thailand closed up shop....then cleaned up around the house, inspected the work on the garage, found more mistakes and had to deal with that and clean up the mess the workers made and lay the rebar. relax on patio
saturday: pick up race packet for sunday's 5K...minor shopping trip, clean house, cook dinner, FI over indulges on apple dumplings.
sunday: run 5K, shoot bow for a bit, think it's finally sighted in and i'm getting hella consistant. took measurements of where we laid rebar to put into model of garage so when we put lift in, we don't drill through concrete and into rebar. pass out early because waking up at 4 AM to go to work sucks.
