Ouch! That sounds awful Rock. I hope you get *some* good news at the dr. Keep us posted.
This weekend was very productive for us. It's one of the few free weekends we have until September, so we took advantage of it and did some stuff around the house. I finished my shawl, DH assembled my raised bed gardens, and I got a lot of cleaning and laundry done. All in all a good weekend.

It was awesome! My friends and mom and sister and I volunteered at the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. We were stationed at the Rose Kennedy Greenway giving out water and snacks and it was so much fun. It was great to have good weather and everyone was in such great spirits. This was my 5th year and I can't wait to go back again next year

We saw all the walkers Saturday while in Boston. We used our livingsocial deals for whale watching and had a great time and saw lots of whales. We had a super lazy Sunday morning (no one off couch til 10:30) then went to a Touch a Truck event and a cookout. DS was so tired this morning he rolled back over a few times to go back to sleep then fell back asleep on the couch.
Good luck with your knee RnV. If you don't have a good ice pack there is a bright green fleece one on amazon. The large size knee wrap is awesome.
The weekend was pretty good! We went to my BFF's daughters 1st birthday party on Saturday. It was a good time and we got to catch up with some people we don't see too often. Yesterday, H ended up taking the day off, which was nice. We just did some running around and got some stuff done around the house. It was nice to have a whole day together. And I can't say enough about the weather!
Rock, good luck with your knee! I hope you get some good news from the doc!

Oh no, Rock! I hope you get some good news from the doctor.
Weekend was way too quick. Saturday, we'd planned to go to the movies, but then at the last minute, my husband decided he didn't want to spend all day in a theater. So instead we ran errands, grabbed some ice cream at Cabots, then hung out at home. I dug out my summer clothes and realized that I have nothing decent to wear to work. I have like 4 pairs of capris. Yesterday, we ended up going to NH for lunch with my ILs, which I was less than enthused about. It was fine, but I just did not have it in me. Then we did a bunch of stuff around the house when we got back, and when I finally cleaned up after dinner, it was already 8 o'clock. Womp womp.

Walkers for what? Apparently I'm in my own little world as I have no idea what this is.
Wow, what a gorgeous weekend, huh? My H had to work all weekend, so I was on my own Sat. Cleaned the house, played on GBCN, and then went for a wonderful walk with a friend at the Habitat in Belmont. I didn't realize what great trails they have up there, it was really nice. We sat and talked in the sun for a while. I was so happy to just be outside!
Sunday, i worked with my H all day. We were inside a dark auditorium for about 8 hrs. But we hit up PF Chang's at Legacy Place for dinner and sat on their patio, so we got some outdoor time! That place has an *awesome* patio!

Rock: So sorry to hear about your knee. Hope you are ok!
A good friend of mine walked this week. She lost her aunt to BC and so her and her father walk every year. This was their 8th year walking.
My weekend was great. I walked in my commencement from BU, and heard Mr. Spock give our commencement speech. Then we walked around and I made a yummy dinner and enjoyed a bottle of Veuve with some friends in the garden. Sunday, SO and I ran errands all day. We stopped by Stickley in Natick and found a small, round side table to complete our living room. It was a great deal as well!
When I got home, I played in the garden a little, just trying to get things ready for the garden tour.
Unfortunately, I spent a lot of it wrapping up work for a freelance client. I worked outside at Panera on Saturday and at Starbucks on Sunday though, so at least I got to enjoy some of the fresh air. Saturday we also went to one of my daughter's friends birthday parties, but it was indoors. And hubby and I went to our community softball field and "played softball" while DD played on the playground. (I play with my company's team in the BSSC but I'm terrible...haha...so it was good practice.)
We just signed the membership book at our church on Sunday. We were members at a UU church back in FL and that's one thing I was really missing here. It's nice to have a spiritual home again I think that was the best part of our weekend!
