Anyone have 2 closings in the same day?

If so, how did you get the cashiers check for the second closing the same day? Our closings are at 2 different title offices and our bank (wells fargo) will not make a cashiers check out for the amount of our second closing without having the first check be in our account for 24 hours...

I'm not sure about this, but is it possible to have the funds sent directly from one title office to the other? I'm pretty sure I've seen this done, but that within one title office. I believe that the deed transfer has to be recorded before the title company can release the funds. Depending on the timing, there may not be time to record the deed transfer from the sale before your purchase closing. I would really try to move one closing or the other, and get pre- or post-closing occupancy as needed.

Ours are the same day, same office with two closing companies spaced an hour apart. I cannot speak to the logistics of how that all works out. But that is how we are doing it.

We are closing on both houses this Friday and I think it's pretty common to close on both the same day. The first office is wiring the money to the second office- doesn't seem to be a problem at all.
