Does anyone else have issues trying to decide what they want to do with their hair? I can't decide if I want to grow it out, cut it short, darken it, or lighten it. I kind of want to just chop most of it off but I keep talking myself out of it. But then I see a pic of a super cute short hair cut and I really really want to cut it again.
Does anyone else go through this? And how often do you change your hair? Or do you try and keep it the same?
My hair has been the same forever. I think it is too thin to go short. And angles/layers don't work either bc it's fine and thin. Blah, mine is boring.

I change mine up but it normally goes like this... Grow it out. It gets long and always goes half up because it too think and "poofy" to be all down. Get annoyed and think I always wear it back.
Chop it off. Love the inverted bob. It's my go to haircut. But then I end up going too short. Hair won't go back. Not good for running.
Then my neighbor sees pic w long hair and says I look younger.
Struggling with turning 30 and finding grays, I grow my locks out again.

In my twenties, I constantly was changing my hair- bold color changes and shorter, styled cuts. I loved getting new stuff done every six weeks. I also had the time to spend 45 minutes styling my hair every morning and hours to spend at the salon. I loved being adventurous and edgy with my hair.
For most of my thirties, I have worn it the same- long and blonde (aside from a few years ago when I went chin length again, thought it was awesome and the most liberating thing ever, and then immediately grew it out again to the same old, same old.) I feel it's so boring, but it's low maintence, I can twist up into a knot without any hair tie or hair pin, and I guess I feel it suits me better these days than something shorter. About the only change I do lately is switching up my bangs or the shade of blonde.
I think short hair is very fresh on someone in their 20's, and you pull off shorter styles well, Liz. I think you should go for it.
Sometimes I add long layers, sometimes I grow them out. Right after I finished college and was getting ready to move to FL in 2000 I cut it really short so I could play with clips and say I had short hair once. I spent the next 4 years growing it back out and had some cute cuts during that time. Now I'll cut a few inches off at a time but I am too close to being old to ever go really short again. I decided that when I'm an old lady I'm going to rock a grey bun. As far as color, I went and got highlights a couple years ago with virgin hair, couldn't believe what it cost, and have spent the next couple years trying to get it all my natural color again with no roots.
Liz you're young, go short while you can!! It was fun.
I kept my hair the same for a long time just because between work, school, and various internships and what not I never had time to cut it. I think I actually one went a whole year with out getting it cut. BUT: I do like getting it cut and colored. I grew out my bangs, but I think I want them back. I saw a longer bob that I like but I am nervous about getting it because I have a round face.
I go through phases. Typically my hair is medium length to long, but I've gotten crazy a couple of times and cut it above my shoulders. As far as color goes I have been really blonde, red, highlighted and my natural light brown. Currently I'm a tad darker than my normal color with some high and low lights. My bangs are my biggest pain. I would love to go bang free but I have a huge forehead, I still pull them back sometimes though. I say do something fun!

I've never colored my hair but I've cut it all kinds of ways - short, very short, long, very long. I was actually just saying I wanted a change. It's been long for a couple of years now and I was enjoying it but now I'm tired of it again and I just keep putting it in a bun or ponytail. I want to do a funky cut but haven't found one I like yet..
