Good Monday morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend! With the wet weather from yesterday, I was super productive and vacuumed the couch, in between/under thr cushions, and it felt good doing that!
Time has been flying lately, do you realize it's memorial weekend this weekend?! Happy almost-long-weekend!

Good morning!
Had a good weekend. BIL got engaged (it was actually really sweet - she cried), and then yesterday DH and I were bums. It felt really good. But this coming weekend, we're doing Spring Cleaning! Yay. I'm so excited to get my house spick and span!!
After putting in an offer on a place in Ballard on Friday, we had a househunting free weekend. A birthday party for W's stepdad's father (so, stepgrandfather? grandstepfather?), Rock Band night at the Rock Bottom Brewery in Bellevue, and now it's time to face Monday. Nothing much cooking this week as we leave Thursday night for my 10 year reunion.

We had a super weekend. We took an inflatable boat out on a super quiet lake by my parents house and between the three of us caught 8 fish in just a few hours. It was a lot of fun, except two of the fishes swallowed the hooks, so when we released them, they flopped around next to the boat for a few minutes before dying. I felt better, though, when two bald eagles swooped down and snagged them for lunch (after they floated away a little bit - the eagles weren't right next to us or anything). I felt like they didn't die in vain. That sounds silly, I know.
We spent the rest of the weekend at my parents house just relaxing. We went to church with them yesterday and then headed home late in the afternoon.
I got another cold somehow. I just had one last month, and I rarely get sick, so I'm kind of irritated. But, the weekend was good.
We had a good weekend. Went to a farm store on Sunday, did some baking, didn't get nearly the housewoek done that I wanted but that's typical. It was hard to get up this morning.
I had a pretty good weekend. I took STBXH to the airport Friday(he's visiting his parents in WA until tomorrow), then went home & packed until BFF came over that night. We just hung out and watched girlie movies until we were both falling asleep on the couch.
Saturday BFF & I hung out some more, and talked a lot. I'm going to miss her SO much. Though, I don't know that she'll be staying in AZ much longer either, so she may be back home in Seattle soon as well (she just moved to AZ in February). Saturday afternoon a co-worker hosted a get together at her house. We had a ton of fun.
Sunday I spent packing all day. I'm feeling pretty good about where I'm at for packing, so that's good. Getting rid of SO much stuff too, which feels great. Last night I met up with a group of friends I met through the Phoenix Nest, as a "see ya later" dinner. It was good spending time with them.
Today is work, then back to packing. Yay... I'll just be glad when it's all over with, and I'm back up there!
Stupid rain came one day early. It was supposed to only sprinkle Sunday morning and then be gone the rest of the day. The constant rain made me send an email and be a CL flake to a guy in Shoreline where we were going to get a ton of rocks for free. We bought 1 ton on Saturday but it doesn't seem enough to me and I thought it was worth getting a 2nd ton if its free so we know we have enough for our herb spiral, plus I can replace the one bed surrounded with bricks instead of rock (like the other 2). We went to West Seattle market for the first time and that one's kind of a let-down to me, hardly ANY produce! So looks like it will be the big trek to Ballard. Kitty was beyond snuggly and cute yesterday!
Hope this week will be kind of slow. Can't wait for 3 day weekend!
I had an ok weekend - spent the bulk of it still feeling pretty sick, and still dragging from that today. I did run Beat the Bridge on Sunday morning and gave it my best shot, but it definitely wasn't my best race day. Then we went to brunch with my dad and bro (who also ran). Last night, we had people over, but they brought over a bunch of food and we grilled, and left us tons of amazing leftovers. And helped clean up the kitchen! I was really appreciative, since all I wanted to do was crash on the couch by the time everyone left.
Today, I'm hoping my new work laptop gets delivered and set up so I can go home mid afternoon and work the rest of the day from the couch. We'll see if that happens. I should hit the gym too. Have a good Monday everyone!
Eh, we assume they will ignore us. We put in an offer for less than they paid for it in 2006 because ... well, it's worth less than what they paid for it in 2006. And it's not a "they're outgrowing the house" situation -- either the daughter who's in HS is graduating, or the mom has a new boyfriend and they want to move in together/are planning to get married. So the seller can just wait out the market if she wants.
We have a plan B house but it just had a big open house so I'm a little worried that someone saw it and is putting in an offer while we're waiting to hear back from these folks .

Good morning! I don't work today, so far I've been sitting on my butt not doing anything. I'll get up at some point and clean a little. I may or may not have a meeting with my boss later.
