We bought it on sale last year at Christmas. It looks like the company may no longer make this model.
I completely over thought the play kitchen. I spent hours researching and looked at dozens. It was really ridiculous. This one worked well in the space we have for it, and I liked that it has shelves, and is made of reclaimed ash.
Please excuse the mess we had just come back from vacation.
It's bright, and probably too girly, but Kidkraft has the same one in different colors, including just plain white. It's great - really sturdy, DD loves how many things open & close, and it wasn't completely horrific to put together.
For accessories, I got her a pots & pans set at Target, a set of dishes, and a bunch of play food (target, Ikea, Melissa & Doug). DD spends hours in her kitchen, and thanks Daddy every day for building it for her.
We have this one, but it was from a yard sale so I have no idea the brand. We even have the same ikea silverware as this google image result. Love the kitchen.

We have a Step 2 one, it was a Christmas buy from Walmart and was $80 bundled with a box of play food. If you have a Costco membership they usually have then in the Christmas toy aisles.
I really liked the way this one looked and we almost bought it for DD, but then I happened to see a little tikes one in near perfect condition at a thrift store (it was just missing one oven knob) and picked it up for $20. I was happy to pick one up for so little, but even if we had gone ahead and spent $100 or more, it would have been worth it. That kitchen has been played with so much in the last 3 years.
If I was getting one I would prefer wood but I saw this one the other day at Toys R Us and thought it was pretty awesome if space isn't an issue www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12886063 Pottery Barn also has some nice non girly colors - white, red and black with 'stainless trim'
We have the Melissa & Doug corner kitchen. It's small, which works perfectly for us since we live in a condo. DS likes it. It is a pain in the ass to assemble, though.
We have this one too, also because we wanted smaller.
