L was gone all weekend, so it was just the kids and me.
Friday - took them to dinner en route to LL Bean to get them long underwear to go under their soccer shorts since it was supposed to be really cold Sat AM.
Saturday - went to the Amish market, took them to their soccer game (the opposing team didn't show so they did a 4 on 4 and the kids had to play the whole game), went to lunch, to get my oil changed, and to the craft store. I dropped them in childcare at the gym while I got my haircut and then home to play outside before having a picnic dinner and movie. Both kids were out by 7:45.
Sunday - I had a crazy busy morning helping kids with homework, cleaning, prepping for the week, etc. Sold our easel through the multiples group in 15m and dropped it off en route to lunch. The kids wanted to go to the bookstore, so we hung out there awhile before meeting up with our neighbors for a couple of hours at the playground. Dinner and then a movie before bed.
Friday - I worked until about 9pm, setting up for my Walk which was Saturday. Saturday - Walk day. After the Walk I spent a lazy day at home watching movies. Sunday - I went to a cafe for a bit to work on my business plan. Then I worked on it at home for a bit longer. After Jelly Bean's nap we went to the pumpkin patch for some cider donuts and a pumpkin.
Friday - left work on time and went home. Took C out for dinner at this soul food place we've been to before, but let's just say it was quite a cultural experience on a Friday night. Then we went to IKEA and bought a chest of drawers for the entryway plus some organizing stuff, Home Depot where I pulled off a huge coup returning things after the return period, and grocery shopping.
Saturday - We went on a tour of the city on a private chartered CTA elevated train, which was really cool but a little long. We...did something for dinner, I don't remember what, then watched a movie.
Sunday - Slept in, I puttered around the house while C worked, went to lunch, C did more work while I took a nap. Then we did a bunch of unpacking, C assembled the chest of drawers, and I cleaned up a little. Then we watched another movie and went to sleep.
Friday night I went to the gym then home to get overnight stuff then met B at a friend's apartment. We spent the night there.
Saturday we got up at 5am (yikes) so B and our friend could go run a 10k. I went with them to carry stuff/cheerleader/take pictures. B is not a runner type and this was a big first and a big deal to her. We then met up with another friend for brunch, and then went back to friend's apartment. We were going to leave right away, but I ended up falling asleep for several hours. When I woke up we hung out and watched a movie and ordered dinner. By the time we finally went home it was bedtime.
Sunday we hung out at home, took care of some house stuff, etc. I finally accepted that I have a cold.

Friday night we went on a date night, dinner and a movie.
Saturday I had a client in early labor, so we stayed home and relaxed. Sat night I headed to the birth and was there until morning.
Sunday I slept most of the day while C went to shoot a non-profit fundraising event. Sunday night we went out to dinner and then to a modern dance performance where C was the second videographer.
It was pretty good. C and I had a overnight break. We went out to dinner for our anniversary and enjoyed a full night's sleep and a toddler-free house in the AM - took advantage by getting a lot done around the nice. It was sooooo amazing to SLEEP! And to organize closets and drawers in peace

Friday: I went to a quick HH with work colleagues while E had a visit with her nana and papa. Then home and a late bedtime for both of us due to her late return...but she had a fun night.
Saturday: Thankfully E slept until almost 9 but I woke at 7:20 and tossed and turned. Grr. We had a lazy morning. E's dad has been wanting to take her to the Transylvania movie, so I acquiesced and they went. I took the time to go to costco and grocery shopping and started making dinner. E came home in time for dinner and bedtime could not come soon enough.
Sunday: We got up and ready to go on our tour of a chocolate factory in Seattle with E's Girl Scout troop. It was fun and interesting (I learned a lot about how they make chocolate!) and tasty samples and of course we had to buy some. We had carpooled with our neighborhood friends, so afterwards the girls played outside in the rain while I sat on the porch and then they went to their house to play and E ended up partly eating dinner...and then coming home and eating with me too.
