I would definitely recommend asking this one one of the reg, non-baby boards (like ML, TIP, etc) I think it's definitely better to get advice for something like that from people who've already been through it and know the most efficient way to do the whole daycare swap thing.

Lol it took me a while to get used to the idea that being pregnant might mean I have a baby in a few months. I think I get what you're saying. I'm staying at home for at least a while, so I have no advice!
I would start looking in your area before out of 1st tri to get an idea for availability and pricing.. Some of the day care options by me didn't have openings for infants until Fall 2013 - and I was looking during Summer 2012! We went with one closer to home but your situation is much trickier than ours. :/
I have GOT to start looking. There's one within walking distance of my house I want to check out. I plan to do in-home daycare... it's like $100 a week cheaper than a center (but still ridiculously expensive). Oh children.
