Friday one of M's classmates went home sick.
Saturday night M started throwing up, Sunday he threw up morning & evening, but not during the day. He's also pooping a lot, 10 times yesterday. He's sleepier than normal but pretty happy. No fever.
I've continued bfing on demand but we skipped solids yesterday. Should I be doing anything else? I assume I just need to wait it out.
BM is best as long as he's keeping it down. If he does throw up the BM I would wait a couple hours after he stops puking and try again but only give him about an ounce, wait an hour, another ounce, etc.

Ugh, I just want to sympathize. We went through this a couple weeks ago. DS threw up a few times and then was fine, but the DH and I were down for 2 days! Just beware you are probably going to catch it
I would just keep nursing, I think you are fine to skip solids.
Just keep nursing. It's the worst. I had it when DD was 3 months--nursing between vomiting sessions was THE PITS but at least she never got it--and we both had it when she was 18 months. Just hydrate, rest, and feel better soon. There is nothing worse than having to care for a (sick OR healthy) child when you are sick yourself.

The only other advice I have is short frequent nursing sessions if he is still throwing up. Our pedi recommended nursing for 30 secs then waiting 30 minutes. If LO was able to keep that down, then nurse for a minute and wait again. Slowly increasing the time nursing assuming there is no throwing up. Also watch for signs of dehydration. No need to offer solids.
