I'm back, and posting from Michigan!

I know I've been away for a while, and I was just directed over here (Thanks dmarie!) so I thought I would post a quick catch up.

The movers showed up on 5/10 and we got loaded up. G flew down so we loaded up the Tahoe with some stuff and my dog and started the journey. The drive wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and we got along really well the whole time. The only time we got snippy was when one of us was hungry, and as soon as we ate everything was fine again.

I started work last Monday (blah) and the movers dropped my stuff Friday. Now we're just trying to get settled and unpacked and find places for all of my stuff in his already full house!

It's been wonderful so far, though I did have a bit of a "holy cow I just left everything I know" breakdown this weekend. He totally understands and was incredibly sweet about it.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and get back in the mix! I'll try to get caught up on posts that I've missed as much as I can!

I know! I can't get over this weather. We would get a total of 5 days of this weather a year in Houston. I'm loving it!!
